International Detective Agency

Fans of Dead Boy Detectives come from all around the world. It's not surprising that a show that reached the number two spot on the English-language series list in 56 countries has such an enthusiastic, wide-ranging audience. Despite leading very different lives and the vast physical distances between them, people who love this series feel united by the tight-knit community that's sprung up around it.

It only made sense to try and bring that community together in person, as well.

In February of 2025, the first Dead Boy Detectives fan meetup took London by storm. Dozens of fans came together for a whirlwind weekend of adventure, sight-seeing, and fun fandom activities. One huge surprise lay in wait for the lucky attendees: Jayden Revri, Dead Boy Detectives' own Charles Rowland, attended the meet-and-greet and took photos with fans.

The meetup was such a memorable occasion that further plans were kicked off right away, with the next meetup being slated for March 2025 in Seattle's Emerald City Comic Con. Fans exchanged their thoughts on the show, handed out souvenirs to one another, and had the opportunity to visit Pornsak Pichetshote, one of the writers of the Dead Boy Detectives comics, at the convention's Artist Alley.

August 2025 brought a second London meetup, this time with a mystery-themed scavenger hunt that led fans around the streets of London. Topped off by a group dinner and a Dead Boy Detectives watch party, the gathering offered plenty of time for fans to explore the incredible location and share their enthusiasm for the show.

Even now, more meetups are in the works, with an October 2025 event scheduled for Port Townsend and other fan get-togethers still in the early planning stages. Whatever comes next, it's clear this fan community has a lot of love to share for the series.
